Sakura Zen

As a long time brick fan, this was my first non-Lego set ever, because I thought this set was so neat. One of the bags was open in the box (despite the seals being intact) but all the pieces were accounted for. The set ended up looking just as good as in the pictures, and I am very happy with it. Brick quality and instructions were just fine.

Honestly the look of this Lego is what caught our attention. We’ve been wanting a Lego bonsai for a long time, but we don’t really love the design of the Lego brand bonsai. I have to say, the pieces were a little rough to assemble together cos they would be a little bit hard to fit onto each other, and although the instructions were easy to follow -I would have loved to have a bit more clarification of the color of the pieces they were referring to as it was a little confusing identifying if they were referring to for example dark green or light green for the next pieces other that that, we can say it is great quality. The size is perfect, and it looks beautiful in my desk.

This was so fun to build!! Clear and easy instructions. Great quality and came with all pieces and a few extras. I’m very happy with this product.

I really thought this was going to have lots of little tiny pieces and take forever. My daughter & I tag team built it after she had surgery. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. It’s cute too.

This is a gift to my wife, and we have created a wonderful display of botanical seemed building blocks with an artistic touch. Product arrived quickly and promptly and in good condition.

It was super easy to follow instructions and the tree came out perfect and so cute! Very relaxing project.

Great lego set??my 9 year old loves it!

I am absolutely obsessed with cherry blossoms, so when I saw this artificial bonsai tree building set, I knew I had to have it. I spent a quiet Sunday afternoon putting it together, and it was such a relaxing, calming experience that really pulled me into a focused zone. For the most part, all the pieces fit together perfectly, and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. While there were a few minor nuances during the assembly of the more detailed sections, they weren't frustrating at all and didn't take away from the overall enjoyment of the build.

The finished product is decently sized and makes a gorgeous statement piece on my desk. With 900 pieces, it has a great level of detail in the branches and blossoms, and the color payoff is just beautiful. Even though it is much less expensive than some of the big-name brand sets, the quality is definitely on par, and it looks far more expensive than just a "bunch of blocks" once it's complete. It is a fantastic, high-quality set that I would highly recommend to any plant or building enthusiast looking for a satisfying project.

Easy to follow instructions but took time to complete. This was my first time doing a flat “block” project and it was fun to see how they made that happen. The bags were clearly labeled which section they go to. Helpful tool included and explained in instructions how to remove pieces if you’ve made mistakes… works like a charm and makes fixing mistakes so much easier keeping the experience relaxing.
Finished product was nice and looked as pictured but could definitely play with it to make it your own if desired. The dangling branches sway slightly.
Con but also understandable
One of the small pink branch stick pieces broke slightly when I was trying to put on the small flower blossom on it. In fairness I accidentally pushed down in a way that was likely to break it. They also provided an extra of each type so I could have swapped it out if desired. However, since you don’t put flowers on all the sticks, I just rotated the piece and was good to go. It’s so unnoticeable I couldn’t find the piece I broke but took a picture of the extra piece.

Shared this item with a client- ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Good clutch. No problems with the build.

Super easy to put together and so pretty!!

"Beautiful set! The directions are clear, and the blocks snap together easily. It might require a touch of glue for two or three loose pieces, but overall, it is priced much better than the name-brand version. I have the name-brand set as well, and this one is overall more visually stunning."

10/10 build, easy to follow instructions and looks amazing

10/10 build, easy to follow instructions and looks amazing

This set is beautiful and intricate. However, It kept falling apart faster than I could build it, so I tried using glue and it worked.

Usually if it’s not Lego system there’s always an issue with quality but not this brand, great product with clear instructions, the tree looks beautiful, great colour and no missing parts. The only weird thing is how pieces from same steps come in different bags but they are labeled nevertheless.

This was my first time purchasing a Lego alternative after seeing just how overpriced some of the more display style pieces have become. I was not disappointed. This looks great, I honestly think in comparison to the LEGO Bonsai Tree, this blows it out of the water in terms of price and look. The blocks stick together well and handle almost identical to Lego. The colors are nice, vibrant, and carry that nice sheen that really helps this thing pop. I really like how certain steps were rather innovative that help make this build something that was refreshing to put together, minus the tree branch parts(be warned, it is tedious but worth it!).It is rare to say these days that I am entirely happy with my purchase but here we are! I am astounded that this has so little reviews for how good this product is. Five stars and I will seriously consider another one of this companies builds in the future. Before I finish however, I would like to list a few complaints that some other reviews have echoed, not worth the loss of a star but still worth mentioning.1. The directions color distinction needs some work, as I had to double check several times to verify, I had the correct piece and not a similar one.2. The piece separator that it comes with wasn't very useful, I found myself using my pocket knife more often to separate incorrect placements than the tool. Though, it goes to show these pieces hold!3. Some of the pictures seem to show a brown base, but the base is in fact black in color.

A bit frustrating at times, you need small fingers or a pencil to help secure pieces, but directions are easy to follow and it is really pretty when done. I used it as a table centerpiece when entertaining, and everyone loved it!

Beautiful when completed, but bags weren't labeled as per the instructions, and the coloring in the instructions isn't clear (i.e. dark blocks could be green, grey, or black).

There is so beautiful cherry blossom tree and I loved it and Idid put it on my drawer there! Thank you so much!
