This is a great display piece - love all of the little details. The characters are quite fun and add to the overall scene.
Very detailed build, had some trouble with it wanting to come apart but I got past it and am very pleased with the finished product!
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is, personally, still my favorite Assassin's Creed, and as truly iconic as the cinematic announcement trailer was, this set truly was the right call for the game's only current set (though if they do want to continue with more, I know a certain Charles who would be THRILLED to see another one include some of the Assassin recruits...). Even though the events depicted don't happen in-game, all of the elements here are also present in the game. Characters are great, highly detailed and instantly resembling their counterparts, and Rodrigo Borgia even comes with both a standing "dress" piece for his papal robes AND normal legs printed to match so he can sit down properly inside. I wouldn't have minded Cesare having a pearl silver torso, as his armor is VERY shiny in-game (he's rather arrogant and showy, after all), but I think the way they used contrasting grays for the plastic and printing are a successful alternative, as it still pops well and actually accomplishes the presence of his Cherubim-laden breastplate satisfactorily. Ezio looks GREAT, with arguably his sharpest default look in the Roman Master Assassin outfit (which someone seems to agree with me on the developer's side, as it is most commonly his legacy outfit included in sequels), a minifigure that is currently exclusive to this set, barring the head being used in the ACII Blind Box to match his appearance at the end of that game. I was surprised to see the "pants" portion of his legs, above the boots, are dark blue, as most common merch (such as Neca's figures) just goes black for this hardly-visible element beneath his robes, but it actually is a very handsome combination on this minifigure, and he is debatably my favorite of the sets I own thus far, though Altaïr and Edward in his default look are still close contenders. The carriage is a GREAT build, all printed bricks and with so many gorgeous gold bricks paired beautifully against the deep red. It's fairly sturdy, and the fact that one side is hinged to lift up and see inside is great. The simple rod build connecting the horses is not quite as sturdy, only because it's more prone to slipping out, but as this is more likely to be a display piece per the adult audience focus than a play piece aimed at kids, it's sufficient. This is the set I was mainly gauging my first experience with Wiseblock off of, before I jumped right into the even bigger and more expensive sets, and I am firmly won over. This is the most impressive alternative building block company I have ever seen, and this set cemented just how strongly I hope this line continues for a long time and many more beloved Assassin's Creed games.
These products are a like a dream coming to fruition.
